Neighbour is devastated.
One of her dogs was taken while she went out to the shops.
The chain around the gate that leads to the garden has been cut open.
She got home and the other dog was running around the patio crying.
How can anyone do this!!!!!

So sorry Shock Sad
I would be devasted if it were my dog.

Police - she much report it even thought they won't be able to do much.

Make sure vets know - they can spread the word and make sure other dog-owners are on their guard.

What breed and how old?

CEvert · 03/02/2014 14:27

A blue French bulldog, not sure exact age but less than a year old.

how awful. My dc would be devastated if their dog as stolen.

That is a very desirable dog though and im not surprised. Has she called the police? Is he microchipped? register him as stolen and when a vet scans him with his new owner he should be found.

Yes, the dog is chipped but you hear stories that even if they are chipped a small proportion are ever returned.
She has reported it to the police.
Just wondering, can someone with a little medical experience extract the chip safely?
Seems to me whoever took the dog knew exactly what they were doing!!!
The neighbour was only out for an hour.
