...that Beehiving pup had left there following a foray out the dog door, into the garden, over a 5ft fence and hedge, into a chicken pen returning the same way with a chicken.

The chicken was fine by the way, a bit wet through being licked lovingly

We'll it turned out to be a chicken and egg situation because the next day she scaled the offence and brought home an egg DH has now raised the fence.
