My stupid twat of a spaniel.....

Has managed to run into and impale himself on a tree branch! We are lucky in that the only damage is a rather substantial hole that just requires a lot of stitches. Picking him up from the vets later, will put the fire on for him as I'm sure he will be quite pathetic. Well at least our other spaniel (twats dad) is getting some peace and quiet for the day!!

Poor pooch! Send him some cuddles from me.

I picked him up 30 mins ago, he's still fairly dopey half his chest hair is missing and he does do pathetic looking very well! He's been lucky as he grazed the internal stuff but did not pierce anything, lots of stitches, short lead walks for at least a week and antibiotics that look big enough to knock a cow out. He's in front of the fire curled up next to his dad.
