Is there anyway to track a breeder through kennel club?

When we got our dog he was the breeders favorite she only gave me him because I have a complicated history with dogs and took a liking to him and him to me. I was badly mauled as a child anyway I kept in regular contact for the first year or two but after that lost her contact details.

I'd like to update her on how my dog is doing and offer to visit so she can see him is there anyway I can get her details from kennel club?

Yes you can. I was an accredited breeder with the kennel club. If you have registered your dog with them which you should have done when you bought the pup, they will have your details on file. They will then tell you the show/kennel name of your dog and the breeders details. Give them a call. If you didn't register your dog with them then it may be hard as it will still be registered in the breeders name and address which you don't have. That is presuming your breeder was kennel club registered. Good Luck.
