Magi mat or turtle mat-any experience of either?

I need to get a door mat for the back door to try and soak up some of the mud an water that the dogs traipse in. I usually put towels down but am sick of dcs tripping over them.

So I am thinking of getting one these mats but as they are expensive I don't want to get something that doesn't work.

So as anyone used one or something similar.

Turtle mats are great - they really seems to soak up the moisture and mud from mucky paws and help to keep the floor much cleaner. As a result they start to look grubby themselves very quickly in wet weather but they wash brilliantly, we have had ours for years. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Get a big one though - we started off with a small one and sometimes when one of our dogs was entering the kitchen at speed they would completely clear it!

meh , I bought a large turtle mat and dog still brought in loads of mud. I wasn't impressed considering the price.
