Barf - what supermarkets sell heart

Morrisons didn't have any yesterday so tried liver and she wouldn't touch it so I'm not bothering with kidney with does anywhere else sell heart? I didn't see it in Asda on Sat either

Tesco does.

I've seen heart in Tesco and Sainsburys sometimes.
Its worth persevering with liver and kidney as they're organ/offal which are important for raw fed dogs. Heart is muscle meat, not offal, so OK for variety but not essential.
Raw liver and kidney seem to be an acquired taste for some dogs, perhaps its the texture. You could start with small amounts mixed with other meat, or with sardines if dog likes them. Or try it still partly frozen. My dog took a while to get used to kidney, he'd remove it from the bowl, eat the rest of the food then slowly nibble tiny bits till it was gone. He's fine with it now.

Waitrose stock lamb hearts or make friends with your local butcher.

Also, I have a faddy offal eater too so I flash fry liver and kidney and I am gradually cooking it less and less. Hopefully he will get used to raw offal but lightly cooked it is his favourite meal!

When I first gave raw liver to my lab he ate it but but shat all over the living room floor that night, spattered everywhere he was fine apart from that. The advice I got from the rawfeeding group was to introduce raw liver in tiny amounts (I'd given my dog a large piece) start with a thumbnail size and make sure you give some bone with the meal, such as chicken leg. Because its so rich most dogs have to gradually get used to it. If you start off with too much it can cause "cannonball butt" which exactly describes what my dog did, it looked like there'd been an explosion of poo. No problems with liver now.
