Dog ate lugworm bait; should I be worried?

DH left it outside to wake up worms (and poison dog...). Dog ate loads of them - seems ok, but should I be worried? Are the worms different from lungworms? Worried

Get the pot and phone your vet for advice. I'm not certain what the active ingredients are but if it is anything like slug bait it needs immediate treatment.

I think the op means lugworm bait as in lugworms, a bait used to catch fish? As opposed to bait to kill lugworms. Not sure of their suitablity for consumption mind.

Yes, bait to catch fish and not deliberate poison (phew). He survived the night with no side effects (bar terrible flatulence...). Thanks for responding x
