My dog spits out tablets. He's 4kg so cat size. I use Drontol spot on stuff for the cats. Could I use it on the dog?

I really don't know but I use Advocate on my dog.

It doesn't do tape worm though I don't think.

Milbemax do a chewy one that I assume is flavoured with something nice .

I would strongly advise talking to your vet before doing that. There are some things which are poisonous to cats but not dogs and vice versa. I use Advocate spot on for dogs ... doesn't do tape worm but you can get separate tablets for that.

Thanks, I'm going to the vet today to get advocate for fleas as frontline seems to have stopped working. Ill ask about tapeworm stuff while I'm there.

We take a large lump of pate and put the tablets right in the middle. Usually the dogs have eaten it before they realize there is something in the middle.
