Discharge from a female puppy?

My little lady is almost 13 weeks old, and for the last couple of days she has been emitting a discharge from her genitals. It is a greeny/yellowy colour, and a bit flem like in consistency. It also seems to have a large flow of it and then nothing for a few hours.

Is this normal or do I need to go to the vet?
Our boy used to emit "scum" from the end of his penis when he was younger so I was wondering it is was the same sort of thing?

Appointment made. Thank you, just wanted to check it wasn't a normal thing before wasting the vets time.

Did you get to the vet today ? How is she ?

It's probably vaginitis, common and not too sinister. I think not is concerned about pyometra which is a nasty condition but won't occur in a sexually immature animal :)

Hope you got to the vet ok, best to be checked out.
