Fleas. Any tips please.

We have put stuff on dog, hoovered EVERYWHERE, washed EVERYTHING, bathed dog. And still the dog has live fleas on her.
What else can we do?

We've not had fleas for at least the last 3 years. Walk dogs in very popular doggy spots with sheep close by too. I feed my 2 csj herbie nuts/rings. The herbs in the food are supposed to help repell fleas and ticks, seems to be working as there's been no fleas, only 2 ticks and I don't use any other flea treatment.
