11 month old lab suddenly fouling kitchen

Every morning for the last 3 weeks, we wake up to the horrid smell and find our dog has pooped and wee'd in the kitchen. Same place. Sometimes two poops.

He gets walked for an hour a day, gets taken out last thing at night to relieve himself.

Any ideas why he is doing this? What can we do to stop it? Keep him out all night in his kennel?

Has he had a change of diet?

If not I'd take to the vet ASAP.

How does the poo look? Is it normal or soft/runny? The only time my puppy pood inside was when he had colitis and just couldn't wait.

Have you considered moving the time you feed? It just could be that your dog's "transit" time is such that they need to go during the night. Moving food back or forward by a few hours might be enough to help.

Are you in an area with much firework noise? Could it be a fear reaction to late night loud bangs?

Normal poop. Very stinky though that is because it's inside.

He was neutered 3 weeks ago. Could it be that? all went well. Straightforward and he recovered quickly.
