We have our first dog rescue centre home check next week. What do I need to think about in advance?

We've got the garden secure, gated and fenced (6ft). What other things is the home-checker checking? I don't wish to delay the process by missing something vital.

I realise they are checking us out as a family too, to check our suitability.
