Because my dog is suddenly completely neurotic, and I want to know if it's a natural developmental stage, or if she maybe had some bad experience that I've not been aware of.
She's become terrified of my cleaner for some reason and various other things result in her having her hackles up (something I rarely used to see) including me peering over the banisters of the stairs the other day.
As I type this, she's growling with her hackles up at some noises my husband is making upstairs.
She's also snapped at my husband recently when he tried to put her car harness on, even though she's completely dotty over him normally.
She's 18 months exactly and was spayed just short of 6 months. Any ideas what's going on?
It's making her very hard to live with!
