What Safety Gate is best for keeping a small but strong dog out of a room?

I need to keep her in the kitchen when I am out of the house or she trashes the lounge and to keep her out of the way when we have visitors/workmen round as she is very in your face and runs off out the front door.

I don't want to keep her in the back garden as that space is for the kids and there are alot of local cats who love to torment her.

I did have a Lindam one that fixed to the door frame but between her and DS1 it has come off.

What gate do you use to keep your dog contained in one area?

We've got a lindam one, a mothercare one and one by Bettacare for various areas for our cairn and twins - have all stood up pretty well so far. They're 'pressure fit' that may make them tighter to the door frame?

Excellent, thanks. DS2 has just started crawling and has a pressure one on hid bedroom so shall swap them round. The dog may as well be DD1! Grin
