will cherry ever grow out of this, every 6 months she turns into a monster, spoiling for a fight at any opportunity and marking every 10 paces and scent marking with her paws. drives me mad. we went to a friends the other day and there was another dog there, she instantly turned into vicous girl and we took them all out for a walk to settle them, she was a bit nasty on walk but mainly just stayed away while eric played with the other dog, the minute we got back in the house she started going for the other dog again so ended up shut in another room on her own. the behaviourist we had in said she thought cherry had some ovarian tissue left in her, not enough to cause any problems but enough to trigger the horrmones. she said it would gradually get better as she got older but it is getting worse, I just dont trust her anymore so I tend to walk her miles away from civilisation or keep her on a lead all the time.

Can you get a scan done at the vet to see if she still does have some ovary left?

Have you spoken to a vet at all about it?

the vet just said there was nothing physical he could see and gave her some plls for her nerves. she hasnt been on them for ages now though.
