Let me tell you about my loony dog. She thinks she is a person, no really, she does. I am having a conversation with someone and debs buts in. Not barking but making a funny grumbly yowly noise as if talking herself. She answers me like this too if I say something to her.
She loves bath time, and if the bathroom door is open she will jump in the bath with the kids and splash in the water. This tends to be rather messy so I have to shut the door when we are bathing the kids. Last night I asked the kids to come upstairs for their bath, walked upstairs and went in the bathroom to find the dog sitting in the bath with the sponge in her mouth looking at me expectantly. I wish I had a camera, I really do.
She is by far the cleverest dog I have ever met and is so tuned into people it's untrue. Why these amazing dogs have such a bad reputation is entirely beyond me. Only spend 5 minutes in their company and you can't resist them. Don't get me wrong there are some who are troubled, but knowing how loving and tolerant they are as a breed, I shudder to think at how badly they have been treated to make them snap :0(

Sounds adorable. We're desperate to get a staffie, but have to wait until August as we have an unusually long holiday booked this summer and it would not be fair to get a dog before then. The wait is killing me though.

We are thinking about getting her a buddy actually, another staff of course :0)

I am utterly in love with my 14 week old Staffie Grin

As you say, so adorable, clever and totally hillarious!!

He already 'talks' - it's really funny to see him arguing with my 10 year old Westie. They play fight, then the puppy oversteps the mark. The Westie puts him in his place and then they have a 'discussion' about who was right. Lots of yowling and remonstration.

2 minutes later they're at it again Grin

We have two Ruby is 16 months and Tia is 8 months, we live on Salisbury Plain, Tia has had the time of her life this week running chasing birds and butterflies, jumping like a kangaroo barking at them, Ruby looks at her looks back to me then shakes her head at the mad thing.

Last Saturday I took them out Tia was investigating a 'bush' dancing about all excited, till the bush went 'boo' at her, she was back behind my legs before you could wink, yes there is a exercising going on :). I asked the still laughing squaddie if it was ok to walk them in the middle of their exercise. 'yeah mam, your our goat header ' Lol always happy to help.

They are such nutty dogs, and very cuddly. I will put a photo on profile I look last weekend

My neighbours have a Staffie... she sits on their ride on mower like Lady Muck. She is gorgeous.
