New dog won't eat breakfast

We got my Mums dog last Sunday. He's settled in fine with us and our dog. This Morning however he wouldn't eat his breakfast. He's fine - playing, doesn't seem in pain.

Do you think I should just leave it and offer his tea as normal later

I would. Our dog is very funny about food and often sniffs then walks away. We leave it down and she eats it later, sometimes not till the afternoon. Then she will wolf down her tea. No rhyme nor reason. Think it is recommended to remove it if they don't eat when you want them to to get them into good habits but we would throw so much away if we did that! She is very happy and healthy.

I've taken it away or the other dog will eat it. Just not use to a dog being a complete dustbin.

My best advice is to put down a meal for 15 minutes and if it's not eaten, take it back up and offer at the next meal. Don't leave food down all day, it will almost certainly result in a fussy dog.
