he eats so much disgusting stuff, poo included if I dont clean it up quick sharpish. he has just been sick and it was all chomped up bits of stick, surely he shouldnt be swallowing bits of sticks. he was sick on sunday night, I think we have had one day since he last had the runs. how do I stop him eating everything in sight? and is this likely to be the reason he is regularly sick/has runs? he is currently fed on skinners puppy, but has previously had fish4dogs and raw and had the same problem.

He ets his food at an alarming rat, we got him and antigulp bowl which has slowed him down a bit but not much. he also hoovers up all the chicken shit from the garden and chews any escaped woodchip from the chicken run.

He is also very thin despite constant attempts to feed him more, the more I feed him the more he runs around.

What make/model is he and where did he come from? How old? I assume he's wormed, but has he been checked for intestinal parasites?

Do get him checked out, but he might just be a waste disposal of a dog and it might just be the crap he's eating that's giving him the trots. If he grows out of that and is still squitty, it may be intolerance. My dog had a bug a while back and never quite got back to normal, poo wise (sorry). He's on James Wellbeloved fish and rice for now and it is doing the trick.
