Does anyone elses dog go loopy at the church bells or it just my crazy hound??

Bumble HATES our church bells!!! He barked very loudly at them one afternoon in the summer when the pealers were rehearsing for a wedding (they arent rung often thankfully!) This morning i let him out and he went nuts at them......They stopped and he did. They started and he went loopy again!!! Trust me to have a loopy dog!!

Mine goes nuts at the call to prayer! We live in the middle east and she has heard the call to prayer 5 times a day for every day of her 350+ days on this planet. So that's over 1500 times she's heard it. Yet she still stops and looks alarmed EVERY time!

At least we are past the stage where she howled at the 4am one though.....

Nope, ours too. Even Big Ben chiming on the radio before the news .

She is many biscuits short of a pack.

My theory is that cockers are the worst for this.

So it's organised religion in general that they have a problem with, feesh?

Mine doesn't mind the church bells, but he hates us singing, the piano, the hoover, guns (live in the countryside = shotguns periodically), and fireworks. It seems each year he develops a new pet hate. Luckily the lawnmower was removed from his list last year (no idea why he is now quite happy with it).

He obviously has very sensitive hearing - but he is also definitely a bit loopy too. We liken him to Harry Enfield's "nice but dim" character.

Bumbles list of dislikes includes, the paper boy, post lady, bike wheels, the lawnmower, one particular make of disabled buggy and his pet hate is being left on the railings at the shop. I am normally not more than five minutes and he barks constantly till i return! He isnt a cocker, he is a jackabea!!!!!
