my mate has a shiba inu, he looks so muc like a fox that people are always asking if he is one.

A rescue I know had two brothers brought over from Ireland that looked like foxed - they were really unsocialised and had to have a lot of work :(

Mine constantly gets referred to as a fox. Or a mini Husky. Some people really do think she's a fox

I like shibas, they are great dogs.

Thanks for posting the story, misdee. I love the photos. I know the Soviets/Russians have had a longstanding program of selectively breeding foxes. I wish we could get one as a pet!
