OK, I know I said I'd never start a thread in the Doghouse but

seeing as this is fairly innocuous I'm going to.

I just bought my dog this and wanted to share how bloody fab it is. It looks great, dog loves it and best of all no smell. I've searched in the past for a fully washable dog bed and not found one so dog had an old duvet instead. But I worried that even doubled over it wasn't thick enough/comfy enough.

She now has this;

I also got her a fitted spotty fleece cover for it to make it soft for her. They do all different pattern fleeces but I don't see them on the website. I got ours from a stand at a country show.

You know you are going to have to buy one for the cats.

I'm going to have to buy one for a ferret at this rate never mind the bloody cats! Shall I get them some parasols as well.

We've got one for UnWiseDog to sit on outside on the patio . No parasols, though. We also got a fitted fleecy comfort pad for her. They're great in the summer as they let the air circulate and when it's cooler it keeps her off the cold concrete which is better for her dodgy hips.

Ooh, I like that bed. My dogs would love that.

Your greyhound is doing it all wrong btw. My girly said to tell her she has to get on the bed/sofa fall asleep looking really comfy and then do that big, sad eyes stare accompanied with heavy sigh when she's asked to move. Even dh wouldn't have the heart to move her.

It works for girly, dh was complaining of lack of sleep the other day because there was a greyhound taking up half the bed . He hasn't even complained about the fact that she is in season and so is bleeding all over my house, my bed and my sofa .
