Should I bother with the vet?

Ok Oscars (8 month old puppy) dew claws has snapped off!

It only bled for a minute and not a lot at all just like when a child does a graze. He's licked it and now its stopped completely.

Should I bother taking him to the vet? or will it be fine and nothing to worry about?

i've always taken mine when this has happened. vet can check it and also give antibiotic jab in case of infection.

if you are unsure tomorrow perhaps ring the surgery and ask their advice?

I did and the vet clipped the other one that put a drop of iodine on each. He saud its a good snap so won't need antibiotics and Oscar is fine thank you

Smile thats good

i am always wary about things like that because a friend of mine delayed going to vet, when she did go dog was put on antibiotics for two weeks and ended up having part of foot amputated. dog is fine now. bill was £1000 Shock
