What does my whippet need for snowy weather walks?

I'm looking at this coat. Is that enough or should I get a snood too?

Or are there better coats somewhere?

One of my ex foster dogs, a Grey, is sporting a coat highly recommended by his owner.

I have ordered a luminous pink one from ebay now, but there was a v nice collar on that site that she will be getting for x-mas.

And just to explain the unfortunate colour of coat, dd1 wanted purple, Dh wanted hi-vis yellow as he was worried about her running off and getting hit by a car. Luminous pink is the compromise

Santa coats are something that is getting argued about currently. dd1 wants one and she is her puppy, Dh says there is no way in hell any dog of his will wear a santa suit. I suspect dd1 will win, as always. And she is right, she is my her puppy.

Would Scruff need a coat? Dh thinks he was shivering when he took him out last night.

Watever you get make sure it is padded and lined for the really cold weather.

She shouldn't need it when running around, just for lead walks, indeed be very careful of whippets running in anything with straps, legs can get caught and break.

Any dog that is cold when walking could do with a coat.
