We are going to look at a litter of puppies next week but they will only be three weeks old. Does this seem too young ? I can find loads of info on what age a puppy should leave it's mum but none on when is it ok to go and choose one. Thanks everyone

There's no harm in going at 3 weeks, but you would need a 2nd visit when they're a bit older in order to be able to handle them and see them playing and see their characters a bit. We allowed first visits at 4 weeks, and then a follow up choose your puppy visit at 6, with the first going at 9, and the last at 12 weeks.

At 3 weeks they're sweet, but you wouldn't be able to pick one then.
