Mum’s 70th birthday help!

I have a budget of 1000-1500! My mum is 70 in March! I would like to take her away somewhere special for a weekend!

she loves adventure, wine and nice things! Happy to get one a plane but would only want to do max 2 nights.

Ideas please!

So where would be ‘special’ to her?

Somewhere she’s always longed to go?

Or somewhere that holds treasured memories?

If you ask her, you can make a plan together - and the anticipation becomes part of the gift.

Because she’ll say something along the lines… don’t make a fuss of me! Blah blah I don’t need anything!

Take her to Portmeirion in North Wales for the luxury part and book her onto the zip line adventure at the nearby slate quarry for the adventure part.
