What keepsakes can I save now the hospital tags are gone?

I'm pretty gutted that my DH has thrown away my baby's hospital tags. To cheer my sentimental self up, what nice mementos can I look out for now?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My kids have grown up now but I’ve kept a few special baby/toddler clothes, their favourite books and first pair of shoes and a few of their paintings/ first writing. This was in the age of no digital photos or video!

Oh gosh yes, their first tiny vests! Now kept in tissue paper.

I have the babygros my two came home in. Unfathomable that these XL adult men were that tiny once!

For them I kept a box of the cards and little trinkets they received from dear family and friends.

Echo vests and outfits - just a couple

Hair

A dummy

You could make a playlist of current songs on - i loved listening to the radio when I had dd so that the pop songs of the time would remind me of her baby years

🥺 congratulations op xx

I have their tags and the card from their hospital cot. I also have the very first outfit each wore. All three DC had very blonde curly hair. I have a lock from each taken when they had their first haircut. The eldest is in his early thirties now and I recently gave him his 'red book' and first hairbrush (wooden with badger hair iirc) when our first GC was born.
