My 3mo is a dream, a literal dream. But bless him he’s so sensitive to the heat when it gets even just a little bit hotter and the air is drier. He usually transfers without a problem, if he wakes up gets himself back to sleep usually, but as the temp creeps up he’s so unsettled when I put him down, struggling to catch his breath, snorting and it honestly sounds like he’s choking sometimes! I had never heard of it before but the health visitor said it’s likely with the air getting drier when it’s hot. I’ve tried saline drops they are not even touching the sides. Any other solutions?

Have you tried propping his cot or Moses basket up on one side a little so that he's lying on an angle, with his head higher than his feet? We've also always found humidifiers near the bed are a dream when the kids are poorly, especially if they have a cough. Vicks plug ins? Baby vapour rub? Hope you find something that helps soon. Congrats on baby xxx
