Looking for the other parents with small babies that don't and have never slept!

My LO is 11 weeks old and has never slept more than 3 hours, ever. She's fallen in to a rubbish little routine this last week, so currently riding out this phase!

She has a bath or a wash at 6, and then cluster feeds until 8. Will sleep 8-11, wake for a feed and poo, sleep 12-230, feed and then wake every hour until my partner gets up with her between 5/6. She will then nap for 2-3 hours but only in the sling on my partner 🫣

Please tell me there are other parents out there in a similar boat?! It feels like everyone else's baby sleeps longer stretches. The sleep deprivation is well a truly dictating my days and I want to know I'm not completely alone!

My little girl is 2 and I've been slumped against her bed shushing and patting her for the last hour 🥴 if I move slightly she's immediately awake, calling me and whimpering! She's only slept through a handful of times in her life and the lack of sleep is nothing short of torturous.

Sympathies! My first son is 2.5 and has only slept through a handful of times. It’s a bit easier now though as he just joins us and cuddles in at some point in the night. When he was little he would wake at least every 90 mins to be fed so I remember how exhausting it is.
younger baby is 5 months and has slept through the night far more times than the first has in his 2.5’years, and is soooo different! We get 8-12 hour stretches basically every night. Except tonight because he’s ill. Basically, some kids sleep and some don’t, and yours may randomly decide to sleep longer without you changing anything (I’ve done nothing different this time around, in fact just stressed less about all the don’t feed to sleep/ drowsy but awake ‘rules’)

Currently up with my 18 month old

She wakes about hourly

On a really good night its 2 hourly

Sympathy for you mamas that have been doing this for years, I'm exhausted. 😭

She's been awake hourly tonight, it's like actual torture.

My 7 month old still wakes every 2hrs all night long and if he's not breastfed immediately for each said he usually goes absolutely ballistic and will scream for like an hour. Sometimes wakes up even more or doesn't go back to sleep after milk, about 3 days a week he will just randomly be up in the night crying for like 1-2hrs.

So yes every sympathy and I hope yours improves sooner but it very well may not unfortunately. We survived somehow!

You have my full sympathy, my first born was exactly the same and it was awful. I wasn’t even able to put her down to sleep until she was 12weeks old so ended up living on a mix of high anxiety, sugar and trash tv. It wasn’t til 9 months until she vaguely slept any decent length of time. She’s now coming up 2.5 is a bugger to get down to sleep atm (though we had it down to 20mins before her sibling arrived) but once she’s down she now sleeps through. To a degree the longer gaps between wake ups snuck up on us until we realised we didn’t feel quite so zombie-like anymore, so you will get there I promise!
