Active sleeping

My 6 week old baby is a very active sleeper when in his moses basket! He cries, grunts and whimpers and moves around but isnt fully awake? If also seems to happen from 3am onwards and doesn't happen when asleep in someone's arms.
Any tips as he wakes himself and us up? And will he grow out of this?

They do grow out of it @jsep. If they are bobbing about a bit you can lay a hand gently on their tummy and usually that bit if reassurance will help them to drift off into a deeper sleep
