Hi all,

Seen the man who SA'd my at the time 3 year old working at a business I was going to use. As he wasn't convicted as the police said his word against hers!!! 🤢

should I phone the business and let them know?

Not the best at wording these things.

Thought about phoning up pretending to be a reporter just to put the frightners on them as I think there a family friend of his.

Unsure legally what I can post on fb as well!!!

Any advice?

I could just drop it and not use the business but I want to spite this beast for every second he still has air in his lungs

Thanks!!

I can only begin to understand the anguish and pain you and your child must have felt because of this person. And to see him would only have intensified the shock.

However I ask you not to contact the business or post anything on social media. It's devastating that police would not pursue prosecution but if you make accusations of paedophilic behaviour without proof, this person could sue you for slander and/ or libel. And the thing about slander and libel in English & Welsh law (don't know position in Scotland /NI) is that the accused party has to prove what they said was true. In others words, unlike any other crime, the defendant is guilty and has to prove their innocence. And if there was no criminal conviction, you can't 'prove' what he did.

I know it seems unfair, but I ask you not to go down this route. Step away. Use another business.

I hope your child and you are receiving help and support.

Definitely fair comment.

I just want to do something to cause even the slightest bit of upset to its life.

It sickened me to see him laughing and joking with work colleagues that probably don't even know what he is.

I keep thinking had I not seen him, I would have went in, placed an order and he would have delivered it as it would have been under my married name and he wouldn't have known to dodge the job, if he had that level of decency and then he would have had my address where my daughter lives.

I totally understand.

Look at it this way - the Universe is looking out for you. It let you see this person so you can avoid.
