FTM - looking for support for 4 month regression

Hi all, I've got a nearly 18 week old baby boy. He was sleeping through the night for a solid 7 to 8 hours and could put himself back to sleep since around 12 weeks. As of this week he's been up every 10 minutes, will only sleep on me. I am running on no sleep and I cannot function. On top of this I have PND and PPA, I feel like this is never going to get better and it's making me feel so exhausted and depressed.

Does the 4 month regression ever end?? How long did it last for you? Any reassuring words would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Yes it's quite normal. It can last a couple days to a couple weeks. They also like to do this when their getting sick. My daughter has had a cold for the past few days and all she wants is me. Maybe find someone to take baby for a few hours. So you can get some sleep. Like a partner, grandparents, Aunt or uncle. Hang in there mama. My oldest hit every sleep regression mile stone. My middle kiddo was at children's hospital right after birth. He woke up to their schedule until he was three. We were waking up every three hours. My daughter has been my best sleeper yet.

Thanks for your reply, I'm really hoping we will be on the other side soon enough. Its been almost a week and I am struggling.

He doesn't seem unwell or sick, but will keep an eye on him just incase. Sadly all my family are deceased and my husband works long hours. My husband does take him on the weekends so I can get some sleep then hopefully.
