As the title says I am often up at night and thought I would see if anyone else is up with pain, rather than a gorgeous cuddly baby 👶

Yes have been awake since 4 because of pain. Dodgy knee, worse at night.

I have been listening to podcasts sat up on the sofa. Time to get to get up now.

Me too. Decades-long back problems have flared up again worse than ever, leading to two hospital admissions over the last two days for urgent assessment but have still come away in agonising pain, unable to work or live my life as normal. Every dept in hospital says I'm not their problem and pass me onto some.other dept, and round and round I go.

Laid in bed unable to find a position where the pain isn't so strong, so now on MN trying the distraction method!

Same - pain hoping pain killers kick in

MyOwnVolt · 01/03/2023 03:34

Emotional pain of completely my own making. It’s nothing I don’t deserve but it hurts and I hate it.

Muscular leg pain here. Went to try out a new wheelchair yesterday and it was obviously too much exertion.

Had to have new dialysis line put in, to replace old, infected line. Got out of hospital yesterday, but it feels like the surgeon knelt on my shoulder to insert the tube. Also have chronic back pain and sciatica. Waiting for painkillers to work. I'm going to listen to Stephen Fry narrate something on Audible, hopefully that will send me back to sleep.😴
