Its been a cracking series.

It has been! Love Will and Alicia they are such a cute couple.
Husband's an arsehole.

What channel? It isn't on anywhere I can see.

I could never describe Alicia as cute. Frosty, prickly, clever, but never cute. Dead Poets Lawyer on the other hand is cute but no personality.

I'm warming to the husband. But I also quite like Will. Clearly I have the same taste in men as her . Anyone know when the next series will be on?

I mean cute as a couple- they bring out the best in each other. They had a (never completely explained) thing when they were students, and when they're together their younger carefree selves come out.

Did you see the scene when they were sharing a beer and a pizza in her office and talking about the past? It was really sweet.

The funny thing is, I thought she was in her 50s THEN, but allegedly shes only 58 now.

They haven't started filming season 2 in the US yet so I would imagine we will get it in the Autumn - Sept/Oct maybe, or January with no hiatus that the US has.

I watched last week on More 4 too....fab. I'm in the Will/Alicia camp, but dh thinks she should stay with husband.....haven't discussed further as I might have to reveal exactly why I want to see more of her and Will....

I just think her husband is inherently selfish- a typical politician.

I was shocked when his mother told him that he shouldn't apologise anymore and that Alicia should get over the whores in her bed, the betrayal and the dodgy gifts. Bitch mother stood there telling him he was a good man and that Alicia was the unreasonable one, and he agreed?????
Plus faking a spiritual awakening so he could set up a meeting at church was really low.

Good show though- he's also a good father and does seem to care about his wife. Will isn't exactly a saint himself- he's ruthless and sometimes unprincipled.

Nice to have grown up characters on TV.
