Season Finale... just watched and...

Good wasn't it! Can't wait for season 2

Oh no, was that the finale? What am I going to look forward to on a Tuesday night?

Somebody tell me when the next series is going to be on..........

It'll be September in the US, and probably January/February over here.

At the end of the credits last night it said ITV2 would be bringing it back in the autumn..so looks like it will following the US airing dates or thereabouts, hopefully not long to wait.

Damon over Stefan, any day!

Damon has those eyes, and the quirky mouth and the snark. He's adorable, in an evil, 'kill you in a heartbeat' kind of way.

Loved the final and love Damon. Stefan is way to broody and miserable all the time. Plus you just know Damon would be way better in bed .

Was totally shocked by the Mayor reveal....though I'd spoilered myself re Katherine. Do you think Damon suspects? I do.

I was definitely a Stefan fan to start with and have now decided that Damon is gorgeous. Can't wait til it comes back on. Although Elena does annoy me - the HAIR, tie it back girl.

Damon is definitly hotter than Stefan and yeah you could tell he knew it was Katherine after that kiss.

I was totallymy mum thinks the mayor was a werewolf and his son is too(can't remember his name).I think damon is so hot and if i was elena i would drop stafan in a heartbeat and run off with damon.Can't wait for series 2 there is a few story lines they could go with which will shock!

I watched it last night as well. DH also thinks werewolf for Mayor and his son. And what about Jeremy?! Bit sad about Anna. Oh, this show is so my guilty pleasure!!

Squidmission, it was the eyes, the mayor's eyes were yellow. They didn't look like vampire eyes to me.

Ah yes I remember the eyes. They were strange.

Hey Skimummy - I know what you mean about Anna - I liked her. And I can't see good things coming if Jeremy becomes a vamp. I mean you can't have three trying to be good male vampires running around Mystic Falls so either he won't die or he'll be bad which means they'll have to kill him....

Am I slightly obsessed and overthinking things here....

Team Damon here too. Stefan is just no fun! Even when he had the human blood thirst, he was all grumpy and angst-ridden about it

Loved the finale and can't wait for the next series - although I'd seen the Damon/Katherine kiss on YouTube, I hadn't realised it was Katherine, iyswim - just thought Elena had finally seen sense and picked the right brother finally - so the Katherine ending took me by surprise. But will she have killed Jonathan? Damon didn't manage it, after all...

DH and I definitely think Mayor and Tyler are werewolves and looking forward to seeing how the Jeremy thing plays out.

(but I have to admit when watching Elena, I do miss Buffy a tiny bit! Not big with the sense of humour and the witty one-liners, our Elena, is she? )
