GOd it was depressing as I should have guessed it would be! DOugray Scott looking rather 'rugged' these days. I always think of him as a young stripling in 'The Crow ROad'!!

We said the same. They go to youth offenders until 21 although I have heard of teen boys going into an adult prison for a night or two until a place is found etc.

They could have still had the similar plot but with the boy a bit older.

I also love the way that Barrington has a mobile phone so openly, has the ear of all the officers and arranged for the boy to share his cell........Prison officers all over the country are probably furious. Yes there is some corruption in prisons but tbh not like this. Just silly.

I wish they would bother to get things right - It's like Gail Platt going to trial in about 6 months! It can take up to a year to get a murder trial sorted out.

Maybe it wouldnt be so believable that the Dad would drop his new life if he was older?

Fifi - he has been on Thay Mitchell and Webb Look, and Holby too.

Its Dougray Scotts accent that gets me - its very stereotypical 'Manchester' and a bit fake sounding, also, I dont think its very believable that he would let his pregnant girlfriend do the money transfer. It does look like its hotting up a bit though.

DH thinks that the policeman with big ears is bent.

And Sophie Okonedo - is she EVER happy? Whenver I've seen her in dramas she's always so bloody miserable. And that face she puts on when thinking/sad/shocked - sort of gormless/full of cold sort of look.
