Wheres the corrie episodes?

According to tv guides and newspapers corrie was supposed to be on at 9pm weds and thurs but we got harry hill instead?

I heard that they are not showing the siege story because of recent events in Cumbria.

As Fanjo said - although not sure they will be able to show them for a while - by which time we will have worked out what was said due to convos other characters have etc.

ah yes of course, hadnt thought about that. yes it will be interesting to see how they work that out. Thanks folks

Corrie is not on tonight, they just announced it will return Monday

They must have changed their minds as it was definitely announced it was back tonight.

Does anyone else think it weird to pull a story on a soap for 'public sensibility' reasons? Surely more people are affected EVERY day by child abuse/domestic violence/rape/general crime than have been affected by the recent events in Cumbria.

I think they were right to pull it tbh. Although if I had been personally affected by the Cumbria events, they last thing I would be doing is tuning into corrie anyway.

Looking forward to a corrie fest next week now!
