Anyone else really disapointed with LOST finale?

I don't feel I found out anything!

Jack saved the island but then what?1 At some point in time everyone was dead and they met up?

It was a very emeotional episode and I admit I cried! but it just didn't tie anything up for me!

It was like a super cop out, instead of answering questions the just sort of put on a spooky voice and went 'ooooo, everyones dead'

What about the egyptian thing? Why those numbers?

I still don't even see why they were brought to the island, I know they eventually stopped the smokey guy from leaving but it all seems a bit friggng mh jst to eventually shoot him.

Pah.

And why were they time travelling??

It had some really good things going on throughout the series but its like I was watching the ending to a different show!

I was a dissapointed at first, but now having had time fo digest it all, I think it was a good ending.

I thought it was a lovely ending, it tied up with the first season and how we got to meet those people and share their adventures.

I know a lot of the questions were not answered, but as far as I know the time travel was- it happened because Ben moved the island to 'save' it from Widmore. It was then fixed when Desmond found his constant (Penny).

They got to shoot Smokey because by 'unplugging' the light Desmond made him mortal. The price would have been the destruction of the island if Jack hadn't stepped in to replug it and bring the light back.

Eventually even though they split up and all died at different times they were brought back together at the end- the island's last gift maybe?

It was like they had run out of steam.

DH and I watched the finale last night, and were like bleugh really.

We have invested so much time and enjoyed so much about Lost that the ending did not do it justice. We still enjoyed it, just not as much as we had hoped to - we had been eagerly anticipating it!

It was shite.
