Have just watched the last episode of Shamless on Sky+, and due to being up and down to DD throughout series and not concentrating/being a bit slow, I just don't get a few things! Is Joe dead? Has Karen not got a long walk home? Is Mimi not wayyyy too old to be having a baby, and who the hell is the father? There seem to be a lot of loose ends for the endo of a series, no?

I didn't realise that was the last one when I watched it last week.

No idea about Joe. I suspect he wont be dead. No idea how Karen is getting home without car seat, pram or baby bag.
Mimi is probably in her mid 40's so possible she could have a baby. It could be Paddy's baby. Not sure how long they have been seperated.

Thinking about it, I guess Mimi is meant to be younger than I had her pegged for. I didn't mean someone in their 40s was too old to have a baby ! I was wondering if it was the underage schoolboy she had a fling with? Not sure how the timings work out!

I thought Joe was probably dead. He had blood coming out of his mouth anyway and Ian hit him pretty hard on the head.

I don't think Paddy could be the father of Mimis baby as they have been separated for months and months and I don't recall any reconciliations.

God knows how Karen will get home but so many things about this episode were just ludicrous anyway. I mean WTF did Ian and his girlfriend kidnap that bloke anyway? Stowing away in the car boot - how unlikely was that?

TBH I have gone right off it this series - the writing was just all over the place.

Having wathced every episode since it started I am not sure I will bother with the next series.
