It was about a white farmer who took Mugabe to court to get a ruling that his compulsory acquisition of farms was illegal. He won his case but his farm and that of his son in law were subsequently destroyed, leading to 500 families they employed losing their livelihoods too. He had bought the farm after Mugabe had come to power so shouldn't have been considered the same as the pre-independence farmers. However Mugabe wants all white farmers to leave the country.

Well worth watching if you are interested in the politics of Zimbabwe.

It was brilliantly done wasn't it.

The family were so brave and just. I would have run wimpering to the hills in the same circumstances I am sure.

I found it quite terrifying. I just don't get the mentality of hating somone not because of a choice they have made but because of the colour of their skin. I don't really hate anybody.

( I do wish someone would go in a take Mugabe out though iykwim )

I agree. If Zimbabwe was rich in oil rather than all the other things it was rich in I reckon Mugabe would be long gone. Equally if there was a powerful leader as head of state in South Africa Mugabe would be gone by now. Unfortunately Mbeki wasn't interested and Zuma is too concerned with his own position.
