Love the plate! Had forgotten that!

notnowbernard · 15/05/2010 21:37

It's making me chuckle out loud anyway

One of my favourite ever programmes! I caught it tonight by accident

TheCrackFox · 15/05/2010 21:46

I could pretty much quote all of AP to you. I especially loved it because I was a reception manager in a hotel at the time.

notnowbernard · 15/05/2010 21:50

This bit is fucking hilarious

HOW many takes must it have, well, taken?!

I love Alan Partridge. Saw it a few months ago when repeated on BBC. I have never laughed so much as when I watched the stalker episode. Pure genius.

SilveryMoon · 16/05/2010 12:36

Alan Partridge is very funny. I really liked the chat show, that was very funny.
The hotel one was just hilarious.
Poor Lynn.

I really like the one where he sang 'Close To You'

notnowbernard · 16/05/2010 21:08

God yes, the stalker episode is genius

Hope you are doing ok, Rindercella

"These are sex people, Lynn!"
"Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan!"
"D'ya want me to lapdance for ya?"
"using the sausages as a breakwater..."
love me a bit of Alan. Steve Coogan live was so terribly disappointing though, trying to forget we ever went.

Species8472 · 17/05/2010 16:52

"So are we friends now Alan, best friends, are we going out next week?" "Y...no, you're a mentalist!!"

bluebump · 17/05/2010 16:55

Oh we love Alan Partridge in our house - it's one of the few programmes we can actually agree on. I do love the stalker episode.

cyb · 17/05/2010 16:59

Steve Coogan is fantastic as Alan partridge.

have you seen him in the film 'A cock and Bull story'?

pagwatch · 17/05/2010 17:02

Oooh I met Lyn. She played my sons mother in a TV drama.
She is just astonishingly lovely. She was very kind to DS1 and told me he was really good. I was delighted until DH pointed out that she would hardly chat with me about his crapness

I love Alan Partridge.

notnowbernard · 17/05/2010 19:48

I have seen Steve Coogan live and thought he was v v funny

He did all the fave characters: Paul and Pauline Calf, and of course, Alan (as the chat show - v good)

Have seen Cock and Bull story - ages ago though, can't remember much about it. I do like Rob Brydon too. I LOVED Marion and Geoff. He is also v good live

Notnow, we're doing ok thanks - DH is home and it's all becoming our normality

I've seen Steve Coogan live too, years ago. He was incredibly funny. I know my friends and I were absolutely terrified as we were sat on the front row and thought he was going to pick on us - thank God he didn't.

Also saw Rob Brydon live last year. Very funny man too, but Steve Coogan was funnier imo.
