Want to cry as my DD's head is so much worse than the baby on the show

Booking a doctors appointment as soon as I can because I don't want to be fobbed off anymore. Has anyone else demanded someone take you seriously about this situation.

It's not just cosmetic...it is my childs future of being teased.

Good luck with whatever you decide! (it's a shite and hard choice to make especially as there are no clear answers - it's really just a judgement call on our part)

Op - tried to do it for you, but it wouldn't link. Try a search for Plagiocephaly or flat head syndrome. NAB3 was the person who gave me lots of advice with DS.

(He had awful Plagio, we did lots of repositioning after I got advice from this site, and you can only see a very slight flat bit when he has soaking wet hair.)

I remember the awful feeling though, believe me.

ds head was worse than that. now he is 3.5 years and it is barely noticable even with short hair. no helmet.

I am in a bit of a rush so not read the whole thread so someone may have suggested this already. My ds2 had flat head on one side and I started to use a goi goi pillow. I used it in his cot under his sheet and also one in his pushchair and it really made such a difference.
I was quite sceptical at first but thought have got nothing to loose and if nothing else it makes the pushchair more luxurious. Will try and find the link but ok my phone right now and have not worked out how to open new pages

Thanks everyone. I have had a lot to think about since the program.

Every post had been helpful but I am more drawn to the ones who have not had treatment and say everything turned out fine. xx

My DD had a very asymmetrical head when a baby with one much bigger eye, now she is 3.5 her head is still a TINY bit flat on one side and maybe one eye is SLIGHTLY bigger but its not noticeable unless you look REALLY hard and know about it in the first place!!
