How come it's not honourable to be gay etc but it's ok for him to leave his wife and children for another woman

sharbie · 13/05/2010 19:59

My DS says its because she was being awful about Saed.... I thought they both agreed to cut him out of the family.Good ending though.

chubbasmum · 13/05/2010 21:27

How can a mother say that to her flesh and blood i love my kids no matter who they are!!!!!!!! ooohhh Zainab those words were like a sharp knife straight through the heart Masood kick her out she`s poison

ruddynorah · 13/05/2010 21:29

i thought it was because she could have stopped the wedding and stopped amira being so hurt and humiliated.

compo · 13/05/2010 21:30

Oh nadgers..I've peeked again. Tonight's episode here was the party/Almira saying she's not pregnant/writing back on the wall in the flat.

My eyes! I really mustn't read UK Eastenders posts. Now I'm so confused...

ChickensNeedOpposableThumb · 13/05/2010 21:40

Agreed compo. Weird about turn for the Masood character.

because of their faith and religion - its fine to be unfaitthful but not with same sex

staryeyed · 14/05/2010 09:04

umm I dont think that the Muslim faih says it is fine to be unfaithful with anyone!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/05/2010 09:06

just guessing but def better to be unfairthful with opposite sex

im not very religious but must be amazing to have such faith in your religion that it makes you disown your children for something they have done/sinned

staryeyed · 14/05/2010 09:08

I think that has more to do with culture than religion because the family is being shunned and excluded by the people around them.

supergreenuk · 14/05/2010 09:19

Any religion that makes you disown your children through there sin is not right. The bible teaches us to forgive, love eachother no matter what without judgement.

What I find amazing as that it happens. But your right though blondeshavemorefun.

I'm loving this story-line atm.
I'm hoping that Masood sees sense as a father and forgives Syed and accepts him as his son again, and then that Zainab has to make a decision of the family as a whole or life on her own.
Not sure which one she'd choose, but fingers crossed the family find a way to work through this together.
As much as Christian really annoys me, I'd also like to see him and Syed back together.

I also think Jane and Masood would be good together, she deserves someone who will worship her like Masood would (as he does with Zainab)

Remember that Zainab was already married when she met Masood though..........

compo · 14/05/2010 10:44

Surely if masood left for jane that would bring more shame on the family and do to zainab what syed has done to Amira!
