Anybody else think Deadliest Catch is fantastic?

No your not I've loved it from the start, DH thinks I'm mad.
I sobbed my heart out when I heard about Phil he's my favorite.

Aaaagh my dh is addicted to this, it has become a running joke with us whenever we see it - it seems to be on all the time, on every channel in the world! He hates reality tv shows, but this is just a reality show for fish. I just don't get the point!

Love it, we both watch, also do Lobstermen and axe men.

Diary, me too, still cry a little when I watch him on the show. Especially in the new series knowing he only has a couple of months left! Last night was really good, when Jake nearly got sucked into the prop, I had a pillow stuffed in my mouth!
( I know, I'm sad!)
Stranded, I am not sure why I like DCatch so much, I hate reality tv with a vengeance, but it is just gripping. I watch in awe when they work in storms and freezing conditions! It's not that I am hoping someone will fall overboard or get killed, I have to watch to make sure nobody does! Iyswim! It isn't reality tv, it is reality!

Oh I love DC, and the dd's love it too, they cheer when they get a good catch!
Poor Phil though, was on literal edge of the seat when he got sick last season. Am so glad they swapped back the boys, can you imagine if jake had been off the boat all season?

What is the dealio with Wizard and Time Bandit as well? DH and I are missing something.
