Kalinda (characters name) was asked to investigate Peter Florric by Childs while she worked Peter. What exactly she discovered we don't know, but now she is friends with Alicia, she doesn't want to hurt her, and so is very cleverly playing the men at their on game of political boll*cks and so far is winning

She was brilliant in Floric's bail trial (Kalinda, I mean)

Just watched this week's which struck me as something of a "holding" episode.

V good, although Alicia is a bit cold sometimes, and would prefer it if the producers had not made her straighten her hair, as loved her "Carol" curls. Obv this could be her own choice.

and what is childs doing with the stuff on alicias doormat

Childs threatened Alicia cos he thought she was trying to embarrass him in a case, said something like he held back and had more dirt on Peter. Then the pictures were left on the doormat.

Don't know whether he knows they are fake or not though.

Kalinda was working both sides so she could find out what Childs knows. That is why she was clever with her testimony - because she is really on Peter's side.

Don't know how Zach's girlfriend would know all that stuff about Alicia at work though - I thought it was the secretary.

Do you mean to say that you have the same series at the same time in the UK as we do in Australia? That must be a miracle of some kind! Although I think you might be one or so episodes ahead of me because the last one I watched 2 days ago was the one where the MIL had a stroke and was in hospital?

Kalinda was in the first episode of Life on Mars.....she was Sam Tylers girlfriend in present day who went missing! Am very generally about The Good Wife-still like it though am just not sure why it has been moved to waaaaay past my bedtime!

Kalinda was in East is East too. Think it's getting better and better (apart from Alicia's make-up). You wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of Kalinda would you? I am really warming to Diane, wasn't sure about her at first.

Diana is really cool. I loved the scene when she and Will are getting drunk in her office and he 'proposes' to her.
They have really good chemistry.

I think that's why I like the show so much. The story's nothing special, but the cast works really well together (Kalinda and young guy- I think he's called Kerry but that's a girl's name- are also really good together).

That's it, the plots aren't brilliant but the characters are good, and well acted. Certainly doesn't crackle along like the West Wing or ER, but you feel involved with the characters. I think the young one might be Carey?

By the way guess who is shown kissing in the trailer for next week's episode....?

Basically you see Peter being told that his marriage is in trouble and then it cuts to Alicia and Will kissing. It looks quite steamy too...

Oooooh-am 2 behind have had to sky+ them all due to the late hour it is on (am v pregnant!!) but am playing catch up as the pre-baby insomnia has kicked in! Can't believe Alicia & Will kissing although he clearly fancies her! Personally I would choose Will over hubby anyday but that may be hormones!!!

Have caught up now am on the latest episode- recognised the ballistics (sp?) expert and its Jack Killion from Midnight Caller....does anybody else remember this from the late 80's/early 90's? Slight detour off topic but it is very early in the morning and I have nobody else to ask !!!
