I kind of love this guy in many ways (addled louche and a bt rough) but I hate the fucking smuggery of this programme.

Whoop di doo, you get to rent a large piece of land for 25 quid a year. Does it cross your mind that the reason most people CAN'T do that is because they don't live in the south of England surrounded by wealthy benefactors and neighbours, propped up by your inevitable public school education, inheritance and previous lucrative career in advertising?

He last series on solitude / faith (IIRC) was good though.

No I didn't know he had been an ad exec either Meglet, but that would explain his love of 'the media' - (or should that read himself?!).
