did you notice how the rich family didnt throw money at them last night but did practical things? I really thought they were a proper family in need.

I thought they would have paid all of the debt like the family did the week before. I thought it was good that they were helping Levi as it would have a knock on effect for everyone else but that was only a care package for a year, what happens after that, back to how they are now. The 11 year old is already having problems at school what does the future hold for him? Its an example of how home life has an impact on how he is behaving at school and the school are probably non the wiser about his home life and think detentions or whatever is the way to deal with his behaviour. There are a lot of children who have to act as carers and get in trouble for not doing their homework when they just havent had time or have been too tired and it just doesnt seem fair. Kids with home lives like these need more support and the schools just have no idea what they go through.

I thought exactly the same thing about the care package. Their hearts were in the right place. It was a change seeing a different type of family. Are we going to see on with a father around? I hope so.

Thats a good point where are all the dads? The wealthy families have been lovely as well, nice children.

very nice children. Very sensitive and not brattish at all. The fathers have all been pretty tasty as well!! I would like to see a family were the father has been made redundant or something. So far its making it look like only single mothers are on the breadline!

it did say during the show that if they gave her more money it would effect her benifits, so guess thats why.
I loved the kids, very sweet but i think Levi's family had somethings money cant help But i think the practical help would really make a diffence. Amazing to see Levi out of his room

I know it was and I wonder how much that was just good tv planning? I heard the bit about benefits but couldnt work out why this didnt apply to the previous two families?

did mention last time about benifits, you can only have a gift of £5k cash - anyone can give a gift up to £5k - the givers also get tax relief on it

and no dads seen anywhere, prob as if 2 parents then at least one could work so wouldnt be on the poverty line

On that documentary about homeless families, they all were couples.
