Anyone else's child started shouting 'coconut number twooooooooo' in the Post Office queue yet ?

I'm waiting for ds to shout it's a disaaaster! It rarely ever is a disaster- they need to stop being so melodramatic!

I hate it but ds is entranced by the colours and monkeys I think. He is only 1 tho.

Jury's still out on it, but is it just me or does it seem to go on forever?

No, but I can't stop humming the bloody theme tune!

I am going to hunt down and murder whoever came up with the theme tune (disclaimer: not really). In fact DP says there's a feature on him in the latest MCPS magazine, so I've got a head start.

I like the musical content and guests on the show but find it quite offensive that only one of the female Zingzillas gets to have an intelligible voice (and a flirty fluttery one at that ). Drum: victim of sexism or merely the embodiment of every drummer joke known to musiciankind?

it does seem a very looooong show. It doesn't keep dd's attention... or mine. We're tuning in tho since a friend filmed some dancing for it. Hoping to see them really soon.

DD loves it. I am tired of being askd for the beebies monkeys. She does yell DISASTER when things don't go her way. I hum the tune in my sleep! Quite possibley the most annoying theme in history.

Ah, I'd missed the disaster thing (I was wondering where ds has got it from) and it explains a lot!

Ds2 (3) loves it. It's not the worst but I'm at a loss as to why Drum seems to be a babyish character. Or am I missing the drummer joke too ?

Is it wrong that DD who is 7 weeks is only really silent when this is on for DS who is 21 months and not always interested

I'm with Disenchanted. I find some of their songs loathsome in that unique, children's TV sticks-in-your-head-and-won't-ever-leave way.

Oh, and the girly voice I think is Sarah-Jane of Higgledy House fame. I think you can sort of tell by the way she dances.

I still don't hate it as much as Chuggington, Clifford and Dirt Girl, and that weird show with Bev and Garth and Lazytown (especially Lazytown Extra) and...the list could go on for EVER!!! When do they graduate to CBBC? At least it's will be new things to hate.

I think the Zingzillas are insufferably rude and patronising to their caretaker/uncle Jake or whoever he is. It makes me angry whenever I watch it

DD1 (4) loves it. To me it seems like The Tweenies on a desert island. Not a good thing .

ARghhh! I hate it almost as much as the green fecking balloon club (who I wish would meet some helium related disaster).

The thing that's so intensely irritating about the Zingzillas is the overacting of the idiots in the monkey suits. eg voiceover actor says something mundane, then man in suit goes completely over the top with the hand gestures.

Do they say 'Crazy as a coconut' or is that from something completely different? I have it stuck in my head at the moment, aargh!
