Neighbours - Is Paul's son Scottish??

Its really starting to bug me, every now and then he sounds really Scottish.

Is he supposed to? Have I missed something or is he crap at the Australian accent?

Apparently the actor is Scottish but his family moved to Oz when he was younger. Hence the bizarre accent.

They have tried to justify it in Neighbours with a story about Andrew and his mother having lived in Scotland for a time.

I personally can't see what is so amazing about his acting skills that made the producers try to work the story line around his accent. But then again Neighbours isn't the RSC .

I can't work out who his mother is. Elle was one of the triplets with gail, and iirc he had an older daughter. Can't remember who else was stupid enough to procreate with him!

I love his accent, I find it inexplicably hilarious and laugh everytime he talks.

God, I'd forgotten about her! She had the funny mouth, didn't she!

His acting does seem to be getting better! I must have missed the bit when they mentioned Scotland!!

Paul has loads of kids that I had forgotten about.

BTW who is Summer again? I cant remember who her parents were.

summer is Max's daughter(max who was married to Steph, he is now off on an oil rig)
