DD has discovered the Care Bears

she will be back at school next week and theres always the off button....

does anyone else watch old kids TV?

DS (5) had Scarlet Fever a couple of weeks ago, but was strangely well with it and spent almost the whole week watching the Care Bear Movie (was in a box set bought for pennies in Morrison's)
I thought he were the only ones too

Button Moon was on a few months ago. I think it was maybe only good the first time 'round

You need to get a Bagpuss DVD. DS is strangely hypnotised by Bagpuss and his cohorts. It's bizzzare.

Even with other programmes he likes he'll still offer a running commenttary (much like I do).

But Bagpuss...

Silence. Utter silence and stillness. It's freaky.

Does anyone know if you can get pigeon st on dvd?

There are 2 episodes on youtube and the DC's will watch them endlessly.

My DS1 (3.9) is currently obsessed with the Care Bears which is strange as personally I think it is a bit girly and he is very much into boys vs girls stuff so no idea what the attraction is for him.

Embarrassingly enough, I actually got excited that there are new episodes starting next week as I must have seen all the current ones at least 10 times each

DD is into wacky races, thunderbirds and care bears but Thundercats was my favourite ever!.

Anytime we want JB...it's on DVD

Saying that though, DD's current obsession is Pinky and the Brain...knows all the words to the theme tune.
