The new guy playing doctor who is so ugly and off putting, I just cant enjoy the programme anymore. Anyone agree? David Tennant was so much pleasurable to watch.

I quite like him.

I'm giving it time.
I loved the first episode, very quick, ranty, waffly, 'certainly-got-a-gob' style which I liked about DT but the second episode I found lacking.
I found MS to be lacking the, I guess, enthusiasm to make The Doctor so watch-able.

Tennant is definitely My Doctor.

No, I think he's great. Which was a huge surprise to me. I prefer him to David Tennant.

I loved DT and CE, but I think MS will add a different dimension.

Agree he's more unusual looking than DT but I like him as the doctor and I've enjoyed the episodes so far.

MS in the first episode was very good but I barely even noticed him in the second episode; Amy Pond was very good though. She has potential.

Thanks all, i'll have to force myself to watch the next episode. i was a bit judgemental but probably because i am to used to Tennant.

i don't really like the new doctor either. the first episode was quite funny though and amy is sweet.

I think he is Fantastic! And I really really surprised myself by this. I loved CE and was a massive DT fan so I was all set to not like MS. In fact when they announced MS's appointment as the doctor I immediately decided it would not be watchable. Boy was I wrong! He is great, I like him!

No I think he's great - yes, ugly but in a good way IFYKWIM.He looks much better in pictures in RL.

We've only just started watching it. The DSs now old enough not to be scared (or so I thought .... darn that screaming angel).

I really like him. Strangely sexy. The DSs think he's great - really funny and crazy. I sometimes can't catch what he's saying though ....

my son loves watching it but he is so scared of the 'angels'. Hes growing on me, now that ive gave him a chance.

My what a lot of Doctor Who threads there are atm.

It's well known I loved DT, but I am really very happy with the new bloke who isn't as odd looking as I first thought, but that's probably familiarity.
